Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve
Spend 4 days 3 nights far into the Amazon in a jungle lodge on the wildlife reserve Cuyabeno. All the days on the reserve are filled with an array of rainforest activities and tours. Each activity is designed in a way that you experience the flora and fauna of the jungle, providing you unique perspective of the reserve. Here you will encounter exotic jungle animals from the comfort of a lodge.
Day 1. Quito-Lago Agrio-Cuyabeno

Take a bus (trip the night before the tour - 8 hours) to Lago Agrio. Transportation to Lago Agrio is not included. Then you will take private land transportation from Lago Agrio to El Puente.

Take a canoe trip down the Cuyabeno River to the lodge to have lunch.

Visit the Laguna Grande to swim and enjoy the sunset.

Eat dinner and afterwards enjoy an exciting night walk.
Day 2. Cuyabeno

Breakfast is served at the lodge.

Paddle in a traditional canoe on Laguna Caimancocha to enjoy the uniqueness of nature.

Lunch is served at the camp.

Later the group hikes in the primary forest including lessons on the use of medicinal plants for survival.

Before returning to camp, relax in the Laguna Grande, where you can swim and enjoy the sunset. If conditions permit, you may be able to see pink dolphins.

Return to the lodge and have dinner.
Day 3. Cuyabeno

Breakfast is served at the lodge.

Visit the community Siona Tarapuy where the naturalist guide will explain the culture and traditions of native people.

The tour eats lunch mid-day.

Go for a jungle walk and then return to camp.

Eat dinner at the camp.

The tour will then go for a night canoe expedition in search of cayman
Day 4. Cuyabeno-Lago Agrio-Quito

There is early morning bird watching and then breakfast.

The tour will then navigate the Cuyabeno river back to El Puente to then eat box lunch.

Then you will transfer to Lago Agrio, where the tour will end
